Due to the UK in lockdown. We wanted to reach out to our customers and hope that you are all keeping safe and well. For those who know us, as a family run business. You can rest assured that we have been following all the strict guidelines during this pandemic and have thus far stayed clear of any infections at Tooltique.
Living and working together, helps us to keep each other safe. Whilst there was the lull in infection rates in the summer, we concentrated our time with buying lots of very nice stock that will be refurbished over the coming months. With forward planning we are reducing all risks that Covid-19 has to certain members of society, as we want to protect them. We know some customers personally and know that they have shielded people in their families, as we also have.
Luckily we don’t have a retail premises that is open to the public nor do we host any events which helps us greatly.
It’s been a lonely time for many; In every aspect and we know that when it comes to communicating with friends or loved ones. It is very important to maintain your own mental health. The first Lockdown was tough, but for many, the second time round has hit them harder. However, we are hearing from the customers who have used this time to do the ‘list of jobs around their homes’ seeing people transforming their homes and gardens and so many decluttering out their garages and sheds. ‘Whatever gets you through’ is the way to look at 2020 so far but hopefully better days are ahead when we can see our loved ones again and feel that sense of freedom.
We have been working 7 days a week around the clock keeping up production. Knowing we are appreciated by so many of you is really gratifying to hear. We do have plenty of tools in-stock and will continue to bring you all a good selection every week.
Steve and Brandon have been working on saws this week, along with the planes. While Callum is focusing on other tools. So please pop in and check regularly.
