Every collector has that elusive item they crave but being at the right place at the right time can make that search even harder. If there was one bit of advice i’d say you improve your chances dramatically when you have contacts.
Likewise we need collectors details so we can make decisive decisions when these rarer items come up for sale. It’s often the case these command higher prices than we can warrant unless we know it can be turned over quickly.
I never know whats about to come our way next, neither does any other tool dealer however I do see lots of items that need the right collector and would like to build our contact list so that if something good is offered we can confidently purchase the said piece in the full knowledge we have a buyer.
You are probably aware of the online auctions and these can be a good source however there is often problems with breakages and those lack of the finer details from someone with knowledge. For every good buy there is always others that spoil it when they turn up broken due to poor packaging or not being quite the bargain you had hoped for.
Send me an email, i’d like to hear from you about your collection and hear about the tools that are eluding you.
