Obviously no sharp edged tool that requires sharpening will last forever however the ‘everlasting’ was a term given by tradesmen to highlight the quality of these chisels.

This is one of our recently sold items: This Unusual Aluminium handled Disston saw is very retro in its design and is straight and reasonably sharp although a seasoned woodworker could improve it. The tpi is 7 per inch and it’s a nice clean example.
