Rare Rabone Steel Tipped Boxwood Folding Ruler Early Numerals – Antique Rule
Dating to around the mid 19th century It’s amazing this folding ruler has survived given how fragile they are.
However it hasn’t come through unscathed over the years but it’s much better it survived with an old repair rather than not at all.
It’s possible to occasionally find 100% brass versions but this is the first boxwood we have ever seen in the many years of dealing in used tools, it’s a rare item
