This is one of our recently sold items: Nice large Vintage adze by Robert Sorby of Sheffield has been sharpened and honed ready for use. Good old warranted high carbon steel that sharpens to a superb cutting edge. Note the notch in the handle made by the craftsman presumably to position his grip.
