There has been some very big updates with the website the past week although very few visual changes to the front end of the website, that is apart from a few issues we had with browsers etc which could have affected some users, hopefully these issues will all soon be sorted out. The main coding for the website has been changed and it has been updated to keep up with the ever changing progression of the internet. This will help us progress the website and its functionality to bring a better user experience in the coming months and years ahead.
We apologise to those who have experienced image loading problems this week but with a small web development team we hope the inconvenience caused will be outweighed by what the website will offer in the near future.
Whilst little seems to have changed visually online there is a whole lot of work going on in the background to bring this whole project together, which when finished will give those who love their old tools an exciting website to participate in.
The other aspects we are tackling are the loading speed of the pages and to ensure as this website continues to grow it can cope the database queries triggered with each and every click without interfering to multiple user’s experience. No-one like a slow website but the busier they become the more this becomes a problem. As for us here on Tooltique.co.uk, this has now been addressed in advance.
