Vintage sp10 Coughtrie Bulkhead light – Polished Industrial Steampunk Lighting
Vintage sp10 Coughtrie Bulkhead light that has been completely stripped and polished to create a unique Industrial Steampunk look.There are signs of originality and the internal light fitting is still present and in what looks to be in good order. These take quite a lot of work to restore even with the right equipment to achieve this polished finish (Not a wire wheel finish) but one that considerably adds to extra panache to a quality product. This vintage bulkhead light would have been from an industrial environment and made in Glasgow.
Please note there is a big difference between un-restored and restored versions as they are often seized shut and have parts missing or incorrect internal parts, these require the ceramic bulb holder due to the internal heat generated to avoid electrical fire, this can only be seen once they are opened up.
