Description
Vintage Mitre Plane with an Ebony Infill and antique Iron, fully refurbished ready for use and in good used condition. It has a fine throat and has a cast steel sole which has been finely finished along with a very nice designed wedge. The plane has a very flat sole to 0.02mm and square sides so some real effort and skill has been put into this plane which is apparent when set up for use taking very fine shavings. Who made it? It doesn’t appear to have a maker’s stamps other than the user I bought this from and another in script text what looks like Philip. It’s a very good-looking woodworking Plane.
Postage: As you can appreciate a lot of work is needed to bring these tools back to life and as a result, I do get quite dirty when working in the workshop. I do have to allocate separate days to postage as a different operation, so I pack all orders every other day and order the collection from Evri, So depending on what day you order your order will go out with the next shipment.
